Spring Trivia Night 2020
On Saturday June 6th, 15 Teams with 91 people joined us for an evening of virtual trivia to support our COVID-19 relief efforts! We laughed, we challenged our brains, and for one evening we were able to come together and be pleasantly distracted from the world around us. The competition was tight, but in the end Natick Neighbor Brigade’s Team Zombinis took the first place prize!

Spring Event Celebrating Neighbors 2019
On Sunday June 9, 2019, we brought back the much-loved trivia night started by our late founder, Pam Washek. Hosted at the Weston Golf Club, nine teams battled for bragging rights but ultimately after a nail-biting tie breaker, Team Claypit Hill Basketball Traveling Allstars came out victorious! That evening we had the honor of hearing from mother and daughter Elisa and Kaleigh McRoberts talk about the powerful impact that our Medfield volunteers have had on their family as they continue to receive much needed services for their husband/father who has a brain tumor. MAPA Translations and Language Solutions was honored as our Community Angel Award recipient for their dedication towards supporting Neighbor Brigade with our diversity and language support services for our clients and volunteers. CEO and Founder Drita Protopapa was there to receive the award and speak about why it is important for her certified woman-owned business to support local organizations such as Neighbor Brigade.

Spring Event Celebrating Neighbors 2018
Our First ever "Celebrating Neighbors" event was held in June 2018 at the beautiful home of Diane and David Bernstein.  Nibha Jolly, a Bedford client, spoke beautifully about the services she had received from the local Bedford Neighbor Brigade volunteers and what that meant to her family.  Bernstein Development was awarded with the Community Angel award for their dedication to strengthening the Bedford community.

“Neighbors” an original play written, directed and performed by Julia Lasker, a 2017 graduate from Acton-Boxborough MA regional high school.

In May of 2017 Julia Lasker, along with seven of her classmates, performed an original play that combined the real life stories of four Neighbor Brigade clients from different towns in Massachusetts whom we had helped over the years. As part of her senior project, Julia interviewed the clients and then created an original play that creatively intertwined the lives of our four clients and made a clear statement about the power of paying it forward. The play was performed as a fundraiser and to bring awareness to the important work of Neighbor Brigade in our communities.

Those who attended the production shared with us that they laughed, they cried and they left inspired to help their neighbors because you never know when you might need that help in return. We thank Julia and her classmates for leaving us all inspired to do more!
