If you are going through a temporary crisis (illness, cancer, surgery, death in the family, house fire) that is not financial, Neighbor Brigade might be able to help you with day to day household support. Our network of volunteers are ready to help with errands, delivering a meal or other chores to allow you some time to recover.
Do you or your business want to support our organization for an event or support a chapter throughout the year? You will receive publicity on a number of platforms, as well as know you are helping build stronger communities. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Volunteers with Neighbor Brigade help out with activities like preparing and/or delivering a meal, walking a dog, yard work, providing rides, running light errands, or helping out with one of our events. Schedule using our online software or in our app with what works for you!
Neighbor Brigade aims to be an inclusive organization. We consciously and continuously apply for grants to expand our diversity in volunteers, clients and the communities we serve. We provide diversity, equity and inclusion trainings for staff and chapter leaders. We offer translation services for clients and collaborate with groups of diverse cultural, racial and ethnic backgrounds. We know we can always do more. Please email email@example.com if you have ideas, comments or questions.
“It does take a village and it’s nice to know the village is out there willing and wanting to help.”
“I enjoy the feeling of helping someone in need. I do not need recognition; the process is its own reward. The small effort [of walking the dog of a blind client] makes a big difference for her and her dog. I have been retired for four years. Neighbor Brigade fits my schedule very well.”
“My family and I are forever grateful to the volunteers for offering me rides daily and supporting and encouraging me to look forward for a beautiful future .”
